Proverbs 9 tells us that Wisdom has hewn out seven pillars, but it doesn't name them. The Architecture of Wisdom looks to James 3:17 as a biblical lens through which to understand the character of “wisdom from above.”
PURITY
Wisdom begins with a heart aligned with God.
PEACE
Wisdom seeks wholeness rather than unnecessary conflict.
GENTLENESS
Wisdom carries strength without harshness.
HUMILITY
Wisdom remains teachable and willing to yield.
MERCY
Wisdom responds to human need with compassion.
FRUITFULNESS
Wisdom produces visible good in the life it shapes.
INTEGRITY
Wisdom forms a life that is genuine, consistent and sincere.
